Lethal Salvation

more killing is less

Must not take guns away.
Must protect children.

Let’s make sure
every adult and child

has firepower
to kill all the killers,

producing still more
killers to be killed.

After the slaughter
shots would fall silent,

stench of corpse rot would
cease filling the sky,

beautiful blue restored,
pristine and sweet.

Those of us left would
go forth and multiply,

start it all over,
again and again.
